I’m enrolled in classes that test me on my knowledge of current events, and yet I know nothing about what’s going on in the world around me. Maybe if I have a place to display my thoughts, I’ll be more inclined to seek out things to talk about.

Basically, I’m a journalism student, so I love to ramble and read my own writing. Starting today, I’m making a greater effort to adopt this “journalist” persona. I’ve subscribed to NYTimes and created a blog. Here goes nothing.

Acknowledgement: Before you yell at me, friends, for making another Tumblr, know that I’m approaching this one from a whole different way than I did in the past; I don’t intend to use this as a vehicle to post my personal life nor do I even plan on following anyone else. I only turned to Tumblr because it’s the prettiest.
